How to watch Raptors games in Canada this season
In Canada, every Raptors game goes to one of two networks: TSN (Bell) or Sportsnet (Rogers). Find out which one has tonight’s game and you know where to watch it. That means the TSN or Sportsnet channel in your TV package, their streaming apps (a TSN plan or Sportsnet+), or an IPTV guide that carries both. American national broadcasts on ESPN, NBC, Peacock and Prime are US feeds; in Canada you watch the same game on TSN or Sportsnet. NBA League Pass blacks out nationally broadcast games in Canada. The 2026-27 season opens on Wednesday, October 21, at home against the Chicago Bulls, 7:30 p.m. ET.

- Every Raptors game in Canada airs on TSN or Sportsnet; check TSN’s Raptors schedule first, and if the game is not there it is on Sportsnet.
- US national broadcasts on ESPN, NBC, Peacock and Prime do not move a game off Canadian TV.
- NBA League Pass blacks out nationally broadcast games in Canada; replays come a few hours later.
- The 2026-27 season opens Wednesday, October 21, against the Chicago Bulls at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Who has the rights to Raptors games in Canada?
Bell and Rogers. Both companies used to co-own Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), the Raptors’ parent company, and shared the games between TSN and Sportsnet. Here is how the ownership change affected the games:
- On July 1, 2025, Rogers closed its purchase of BCE’s 37.5% MLSE stake and now owns 75% of MLSE.
- When the sale was announced in September 2024, BCE said Bell Media had “secured access to content rights for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors on TSN for the next 20 years,” subject to league approvals.
- A Federal Court judgment from July 2024 (2024 FC 1082) lists all Raptors pre-season and regular-season games through 2025-26 as content whose Canadian rights belong to BCE and Rogers.
The last split the team published came in October 2023: “TSN and Sportsnet will each carry 41 games,” with NBA TV Canada producing all 82 broadcasts. In practice, a Raptors game in Canada is a TSN game or a Sportsnet game.
For 2026-27, the team’s schedule release on Raptors.com says, “The local television schedule will be released at a later date.” When we checked TSN’s 2026-27 Raptors page on October 19, 2026, it listed the two pre-season games on TSN4 and said the regular-season list was coming soon. Until both networks post their lists, check each game, using the method below.
Find tonight’s Raptors channel in 30 seconds
You need the tip-off time, the network, and the channel on your own TV or app. That’s three checks.
- Get the time. Open the schedule at nba.com/raptors/schedule or in the NBA app and tap tonight’s game. Check which time zone the time is shown in.
- Check TSN first. Open TSN’s “Raptors on TSN” schedule page on tsn.ca. If tonight’s game is there, it names the exact feed (TSN1 to TSN5). If it isn’t there, the game is almost certainly on Sportsnet, because the two networks split the season.
- Confirm the channel where you watch. On cable or Fibe TV, search “Raptors” in the guide. In the TSN app or Sportsnet+, open the live tab around tip-off. On IPTV, open the EPG, go to the sports group and look at the TSN and Sportsnet rows for the tip-off time.
If tonight’s game is also a US national broadcast (ESPN, NBC, Peacock or Prime), the steps don’t change. Those logos on American schedule sites refer to US coverage.
Where each kind of Raptors game airs
| Game type | TV channel in Canada | Streaming in Canada | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular season, TSN night | TSN (one of TSN1 to TSN5) | TSN app with a TSN Standard or Premium plan, a Crave + TSN bundle, or your TV provider login | TSN lists the exact feed on its Raptors schedule |
| Regular season, Sportsnet night | A Sportsnet channel (the listing names which one) | Sportsnet+ Standard or Premium, or your TV provider login | TELUS Optik customers can get Sportsnet+ Standard with the “Sportsnet & Beyond” theme pack |
| Game also on US national TV (ESPN, NBC, Peacock, Prime) | Still TSN or Sportsnet | Same as above | Toronto has seven US national games this season |
| NBA Cup group games (Fridays from Oct. 30) | TSN or Sportsnet | Same as above | Toronto’s first Cup game is Oct. 30 vs Orlando |
| Playoff games | TSN or Sportsnet | Same as above | For 2023-24 to 2025-26, a 2024 court judgment listed all NBA playoff games among the rights BCE and Rogers hold |
| Missed the game | On-demand on the TSN or Sportsnet app | League Pass replay a few hours after the live broadcast ends | League Pass in Canada does not show nationally broadcast games live |
National US broadcasts and what they mean in Canada
The Raptors play seven games on American national TV in 2026-27: two on ESPN, two on Peacock, two on Prime and one on NBC. One example from the NBA’s own list: the Cavaliers visit Toronto on January 29 on ESPN.
These deals belong to the NBA’s US partners: Disney (ABC and ESPN), NBCUniversal (NBC and Peacock) and Amazon (Prime Video). They decide what American viewers see. They don’t move a Raptors game off Canadian TV. In 2023-24, the last season with a published split, TSN and Sportsnet shared all 82 games between them, US national games included. So when an American site says “ESPN” next to a Raptors game, look on TSN or Sportsnet in Canada.
Can you watch the Raptors on NBA League Pass in Canada?
Live, usually not. The NBA’s League Pass help centre says: “In Canada, blackouts include all nationally broadcast games.” It names “Sportsnet, TSN, CTV, RDS, or Amazon Prime Video” as the places Canadian fans should watch those games, and says the replays become available “a few hours after the live broadcast concludes.” That page was last updated October 6, 2026.
The page doesn’t mention the Raptors by name. Raptors games air on TSN and Sportsnet, which are both on that list, so expect a Raptors game to be blacked out live on League Pass in Canada. League Pass is still useful for other teams’ games and for Raptors replays.
Streaming the Raptors without cable
You have three official routes. The first two each cover only the games on their own network.
- A TSN plan. TSN sells streaming plans directly at tsn.ca/subscribe. TSN Standard includes the “TSN 1–5 live channels” and its NBA coverage, with the Raptors listed from October to April. TSN Premium adds extra content, including “75 additional NBA games” (not Raptors-specific). TSN is also sold in bundles with Crave. Crave on its own does not include TSN.
- Sportsnet+. Rogers’ streaming service comes in Standard and Premium. TELUS describes both as including “Live coverage of NHL, MLB, NBA & UFC.” Premium mostly adds out-of-market NHL games, which doesn’t matter for the Raptors.
- Your TV provider’s app. If your TV package already has TSN and Sportsnet, the provider’s app (the Fibe TV app at Bell, TELUS TV+ at TELUS) shows them live. Bell’s and TELUS’s apps both limit some live channels when you’re away from your home internet.
To stream every game you need two subscriptions, one per network. Prices change often, so check them on each provider’s own site.
Where IPTV fits
An IPTV service puts both networks in one guide. In our channel line-up, TSN 1 to 5 and the Sportsnet feeds (Ontario, East, West, Pacific, One, 360 and World) sit together in the sports group, next to RDS, RDS 2, TVA Sports and the US networks. The full list is on our Canadian channel list page.
What that changes on game night:
- You don’t need to know in advance whether it’s a TSN night or a Sportsnet night. Open the EPG, go to sports, and both rows are on the same screen.
- If you start late, 7-day catch-up works on supported channels, so you can go back to tip-off.
- Sports channels run on priority servers, which matters most at 7:30 p.m. ET on a weeknight when everyone in the house is online.
For an overview of the service, see our best IPTV Canada homepage. Current prices are on the plans page. The simplest way to check it with your own team is the 24-hour free trial: start it on a game day, find the Raptors in the guide, and watch a quarter. On a Fire TV Stick, follow the Firestick setup guide first. Questions during the trial go to WhatsApp at wa.me/12513149725 (9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Eastern, every day, in English or French).
Limits: what IPTV won’t do for Raptors games
- It won’t change who has the game. If a game is on TSN, you watch it on the TSN feed. League and broadcaster blackout rules still apply, and we don’t give advice on getting around them.
- It won’t give you US-only coverage. ESPN’s or Peacock’s American broadcast of a Raptors game is not something to plan around. The Canadian feed on TSN or Sportsnet is the one to watch.
- It can’t fix a weak home connection. If the picture stalls at tip-off, the cause is often Wi-Fi in the room with the TV. Our buffering guide goes through the checks, starting with a wired connection.
- Catch-up has limits. Seven days, on supported channels only. It doesn’t replace a saved recording.
- Schedules move. Two of Toronto’s 82 games will only be set after NBA Cup group play, and broadcasters sometimes switch feeds. Check the guide on the day.
A note on who wrote this
We sell IPTV. FineIPTV is a paid service, and its plans are on the pricing page. The rights, schedule and League Pass details above come from the NBA, the Raptors, TSN, Bell, Rogers, TELUS and the Federal Court, as checked in October 2026, not from us. If a broadcaster posts its game list after this date, its list wins.

Raptors questions we hear most
What channel is the Raptors game on tonight?
TSN or Sportsnet. Look up tonight’s game on TSN’s Raptors schedule at tsn.ca. If it’s listed there, the page shows which TSN feed. If it isn’t, the game is on Sportsnet. In your TV guide or IPTV guide, search “Raptors” or check both networks’ rows at tip-off.
Are Raptors games on TSN or Sportsnet this season?
Both, split by game. Rogers now owns most of MLSE, and Bell Media has an agreement with Rogers giving TSN access to Raptors content for 20 years. The last published split, for 2023-24, was 41 games each. The game-by-game list for 2026-27 hadn’t been posted by both networks when we checked on October 19, 2026.
Can I watch Raptors games on NBA League Pass in Canada?
Not live, in most cases. The NBA says that in Canada, League Pass blacks out all nationally broadcast games, including those on TSN and Sportsnet. Those games come back as replays a few hours after the live broadcast ends.
How can I watch the Raptors without cable?
Use a TSN streaming plan for TSN nights and Sportsnet+ for Sportsnet nights. To see every game you need both. An IPTV service that carries TSN and Sportsnet puts both in one guide; see the limits above.
Is the Raptors game on Crave?
Not with Crave alone. Bell sells Crave and TSN together as a bundle, and the TSN part of that bundle includes the Raptors games TSN carries. For Sportsnet nights you need Sportsnet.
When does the 2026-27 Raptors season start?
Wednesday, October 21, 2026, against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena, 7:30 p.m. ET. The NBA season itself starts a day earlier, on October 20.
