No VPN needed in Canada

Canadian ISPs do not filter IPTV apps as a category, so the plan works on Rogers, Bell, Telus, Vidéotron, Cogeco, Eastlink, SaskTel and the third-party providers as delivered. Support runs 9 am to 11 pm ET, seven days, in English and French.

Which of the two IPTV plans households actually need

Count the screens that will be playing at the same moment, not the screens you own. A couple with a living-room TV and a tablet in the kitchen plays two streams at most, and the Standard tier of our IPTV plan line-up covers that even if there are six devices with the login saved. A “too many connections” message is the only thing that happens when you exceed the count; the third screen waits until one of the others stops.

Pro earns its extra CA$7 a month in two situations. The first is a household of four or more with TVs in bedrooms and a basement, where three or four streams at once is normal on a Saturday. The second is a hockey home on a busy building network, because Pro streams come from the priority servers we reserve for peak hours, and on a Leafs or Canadiens night at 7 pm ET that is the difference we can control from our side.

If you are unsure, start on Standard for a month at CA$22. Moving to Pro later is a new order on the IPTV plan page, not a penalty, and the login stays the same. Of the IPTV plans readers of our device guides pick, Standard is the sensible default for a one-TV or two-TV home.

How billing works on IPTV plans customers buy from us

The billing rules are short enough to fit in five steps, and none of them involves a phone call to cancel. We built the IPTV plans subscribers asked us for after years of cable contracts: a fixed price, a fixed end date, and a refund window that does not need a reason.

  1. Pay once, by the method you already use. Interac e-Transfer is the most common choice in Canada and clears within minutes on most banks; Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are the alternatives. We accept Interac e-Transfer by auto-deposit, so there is no security question to type.
  2. Your login arrives by email. It is the same Xtream Codes details and M3U link you had on the trial, if you took one, so nothing on your devices needs to change. New subscribers get the same details by email once the payment clears.
  3. The plan runs for exactly the period you bought. The IPTV plans subscribers buy here run in calendar days: one month is 30 days from activation, three months is 90, twelve months is 365. The end date is in your welcome email.
  4. Nothing auto-renews. We do not store your card for a recurring charge. Before the end date we send one reminder email with a renewal link; if you ignore it, the service stops on the end date and you owe nothing.

The reminder email is the only marketing message a subscription generates. If you take the 12-month plan you will hear from us once, near the end of it, and not before, unless you write to support first.

The maths

Cost per screen: what IPTV plans across Canada really cost against cable

Cost per screen is the number cable never prints. On the annual Standard plan, the cheapest of the IPTV plans readers of this page tend to choose, CA$119 divided by twelve months and two screens is CA$4.96 per screen per month. Annual Pro is CA$149 over twelve months and five screens, or CA$2.48 per screen per month, and that is before counting that Pro carries the priority servers. Even the one-month Standard plan at CA$22 is CA$11 per screen.

A cable or fibre TV package from the large Canadian providers commonly lands between CA$95 and CA$130 a month once the promotional year ends, and that figure usually covers one main receiver. Each additional room adds a rental or a wireless receiver charge, and the regional sports channels that carry your team often sit in an add-on tier. Two rooms with sports can pass CA$150 a month before tax, which is more than a full year of Standard.

We are not claiming cable is worthless; it has a technician, a single bill with your internet, and no app to install. Are the IPTV plan prices shown here the final amount, with tax?

Yes. CA$22, CA$49 and CA$119 for Standard and CA$29, CA$69 and CA$149 for Pro are the amounts charged, with GST, HST or QST already included. Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal all charge the same figure, and there is no processing fee on any of them.

Does the plan renew automatically when it ends?

No. None of the IPTV plans customers buy from us renews on its own, because we do not keep a card on file for recurring billing. You get one reminder email before the end date with a link to renew for another period at the same price; if you do nothing, the service stops on that date and nothing is charged.

What does the 30-day money-back cover?

Any paid plan, for any reason, within 30 days of the order. Send your order email to support and the refund goes back to the payment method you used. The trial is free, so most people have already tested the service on their own devices before that window even starts.

Can I switch from Standard to Pro in the middle of a plan?

Yes. Write to support and we will tell you what upgrading the remaining days costs and send a link, or simply order Pro when the current plan ends. Your login and every app you have set up stay the same.

Which IPTV plans residents outside Ontario and Québec can use?

Both, anywhere in the country, on any ISP. The channel list is national, including every Sportsnet region and all five TSN feeds, so a subscriber in Calgary sees Sportsnet West for the Flames and a subscriber in Halifax sees Sportsnet East. Regional blackouts follow the broadcaster’s rules, not ours.

Do I need a separate plan for each device?

No. One login covers every device you own on both IPTV plans across Canada, and the plan only limits how many are playing at the same moment: two on Standard, five on Pro. Install the app on the Fire TV Stick, the phone and the laptop; they all share the one subscription.

Is there a discount for paying a year up front?

The annual price is the discount on both IPTV plans subscribers can choose. Standard is CA$119 for twelve months against CA$264 if you paid CA$22 monthly, and Pro is CA$149 against CA$348. There are no promotional codes and no “first-year” price that changes later.
