DMCA / copyright policy.
Last updated: 2026-04-20
FineIPTV respects the rights of copyright holders. If you believe content accessible through our service infringes your copyright, we want to know — and we act quickly.
Canadian notice-and-notice regime
Under the Canadian Copyright Modernization Act (SC 2012, c. 20), Canadian service providers operate under a "notice and notice" regime rather than the US DMCA "notice and takedown" regime. We honour valid notices from rights holders under both frameworks and remove infringing streams promptly upon substantiated complaint.
How to submit a copyright complaint
Email support@fineiptv.com with "Copyright complaint" or "DMCA" in the subject line, and include:
- Your full legal name and the rights-holder you represent.
- Description of the copyrighted work being infringed.
- Specific identification of the infringing material on our service (channel name, approximate date/time, or any identifying URL or feed reference you have).
- Your contact information (address, phone, email).
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on their behalf and that the information in your notice is accurate.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Our response
- We acknowledge valid complaints within 2 business days.
- If the complaint identifies infringing content we can remove, we remove it within 5 business days of substantiation.
- We log the complaint and our response.
- We do not forward complainant contact information to subscribers without legal process.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email with full contact information and a statement of good-faith belief that the removal was in error.
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of repeat infringers as required by law.
