About us
FineIPTV: built for Canadian households, by operators who've done this for years.
FineIPTV is the Canadian-focused arm of ProTV, an IPTV operation that's served European and Middle Eastern households since 2020 through our sister brands pro-tvpremium.es (Spain) and iptvpremium.pt (Portugal). Canada gets its own brand, its own servers, its own channel mix, and its own support team — because Canadian households aren't Spanish households.
Why Canada needed its own brand
For years we tried serving Canadian customers through our European brand. It never worked well. Canadian IPTV is a different product:
- Canadian channels (TSN, Sportsnet, RDS, CBC, CTV, Global) require different source infrastructure than European channels.
- Canadian internet (Rogers, Bell, Telus, Shaw, Videotron) has specific router quirks — Bell's IGMP proxy, Rogers' 2.4GHz crowding in condos — that we had to learn.
- Canadian payments (Interac e-Transfer in particular) weren't on our European payment stack.
- Canadian law (PIPEDA, CASL, Bill 96 in Québec) required privacy and marketing compliance written from scratch.
So in 2024 we spun up FineIPTV as a standalone Canadian-focused service. Same underlying operational experience, completely rebuilt stack.
How we're different from most "IPTV Canada" services
Prices in CAD, on a Canadian payment stack
Our pricing is in Canadian dollars throughout — no FX surprises. Stripe runs in CAD so your Visa statement shows exactly what our site shows. Interac e-Transfer is fully supported (most of our Québec and Atlantic customers pay this way — zero fees to you, near-zero to us).
Canadian support hours, in English or French
Our support window is 09:00–23:00 Eastern Time, seven days a week. You message us on WhatsApp or email; real humans reply — typically within four hours, often much faster. We answer in English or French. No chatbots.
No trademark theatre
Many IPTV resellers list specific broadcaster logos and trademarked brand names all over their sites — which is legally risky and usually misleading about what's actually carried. We describe our channel lineup by category ("Canadian sports", "Canadian news", "French-Canadian") and let you verify specifics during your free trial.
We write honestly about what IPTV is
Our "What is IPTV" guide doesn't pretend the industry is squeaky clean. Our buyer's guide lists the red flags to watch for — even though several competitors check those boxes. We'd rather help you choose wisely (even if not us) than oversell.
The infrastructure
Our streaming infrastructure routes through data-centre PoPs in Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver with Cloudflare in front for DDoS absorption and edge caching. EPG data refreshes daily. Uptime target is 99.9% (under 9 hours of downtime per year); for 2025 we tracked 99.94%.
Commitments we make
- 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy in the first 30 days, refund in full, no arguments.
- 24-hour free trial, no card required. Test the product before paying a cent.
- Your data stays in Canada where possible. Customer records live on Canadian infrastructure; billing data goes through Stripe's PIPEDA-compliant processing.
- CASL-compliant communications. You'll never get a marketing email you didn't opt into. Unsubscribe works in one click.
- Honest uptime reporting. When we have an outage, we post it; we don't pretend it didn't happen.
What we won't do
- We won't sell your email or WhatsApp number to anyone.
- We won't run "limited-time" countdown timers that reset every day. You'll notice our pricing doesn't do that.
- We won't claim to be "the #1 IPTV service in Canada" — there's no independent body ranking that, and anyone who says it is making it up.
- We won't inflate channel counts. Our 20,000+ number counts every live channel plus international feeds; our Canadian sports count (120+) is independently verifiable from our channel list.
