Copyright notice and takedown
Last updated 17 September 2026. This page explains how to notify us about content and what we do when you do. It is a procedure, not legal advice.
Our position
FineIPTV does not host, upload, store or originate video content. The Service supplies login credentials that a player application uses to receive streams from third-party providers. We respect the rights of copyright owners and act promptly on valid notices. Because we do not hold the content, our action is to remove or restrict access to the stream through the Service and to pass the notice to the provider concerned.
How to send a notice
Email support@fineiptv.com with the word “Notice” in the subject line. Notices with that subject are routed to the people who handle them rather than to general support. We accept notices in English or French.
What a notice must contain
So that we can identify the material and act, a notice should include the following.
- The name and contact details of the person sending it, including an email address.
- The name of the copyright owner and, if the sender is acting for the owner, a statement of that authority.
- A description of the work claimed to be infringed, such as the programme, event or channel and the date and time of the broadcast.
- Enough detail to locate the stream within the Service, such as the channel name or the on-demand title as it appears in the guide.
- A statement that the sender believes in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate.
- The sender’s signature, which may be typed.
A notice that leaves out enough of these that we cannot identify the material or the sender may be returned with a request for the missing details before we act.
What we do with a valid notice
We acknowledge receipt by email. Where the notice identifies a stream or title available through the Service, we remove or restrict access to it and forward the notice to the third-party provider that supplies it. We keep a record of the notice and of what we did. We do not comment on whether any particular stream is or is not infringing; that is a matter between the rights-holder and the source of the stream.
Counter-notice
If access to material was restricted because of a notice and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, with “Counter-notice” in the subject. Include your name and contact details, an identification of the material and where it appeared, a statement that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to our sharing the counter-notice with the party who sent the original notice.
We forward it and may restore access if the original sender does not pursue the matter within a reasonable time. A counter-notice is a serious step; consider taking independent advice before sending one.
Repeat infringers
A login that is the subject of repeated valid notices, or that is used to redistribute streams in breach of our terms of service, is suspended and may be closed without refund.
Misuse of this process
Knowingly false notices and counter-notices can carry legal consequences for the sender. We keep every notice we receive and may share it with the affected party, the relevant provider, or a court or authority that requires it.
